I’m A Celebrity star Nick Knowles got into arguments in the jungle which were never aired on the show, former campmate Anne Hegerty has revealed.
According to The Chase star Anne, 56-year-old Nick clashed with production staff on more than one occasion in scenes recorded for broadcast – but the squabbles didn’t make the final cut of episodes for the ITV programme.
Anne, who shared many touching moments in the jungle campsite with DIY SOS presenter Nick, told Metro he would stick up for his fellow campmates if he believed they faced any potentially dangerous situations on the series.
“I don’t think [the viewers have] seen how protective he gets with the other campmates, and how he’ll have blazing rows in the Bush Telegraph if he thinks the rest of us are being put at risk in any way,” she is reported to have said.

The 60-year-old quizmistress also hinted she felt TV audiences had not got to see the burly host at his best, having realised some of his jungle ingenuity had been edited out.
Highlighting how Nick had used heated knives from the campfire to get rid of wax from John Barrowman’s clothing, Anne also admitted the Who Dares Wins presenter was her “favourite” pal on the show as she filled in the blanks for viewers at home who missed out on getting to see everything that unfolded.
Anne continued: “Honestly, from the conversations I’ve been having with people since I got out, I think there’s a lot of things Nick has been doing that have just not been shown.
“People seem to know that candle wax was spilled on John’s gilet. But when I say ‘Were you impressed by Nick’s scheme for removing the wax when the producers said they wouldn’t provide a new gilet?’ they all go, ‘What scheme?'”

Nick lasted twenty days in the camp down under before being voted out on Thursday’s programme.
His generous acts of giving up food and his pillow to those he felt needed it more and his “old-fashioned” refusal to touch female celebs’ underwear hung out to dry made him a favourite with many viewers.
However, others called him “fake” and accused him of putting on a act in order to win.
Nick also had a few tense moments with TV legend Noel Edmonds during their stint together on the show – but Noel later brushed off reports they butted heads.
The 69-year-old dismissed talk of a feud as “fake news” – but went on to hint he was indeed on a mission to wind Nick up.
