Olly Murs has opened up about the depression he suffered after his unsuccessful series hosting The X Factor.
The Dear Darling singer presented the show with pal Caroline Flack for one series back in 2015.
But he was criticised mercilessly by viewers on Twitter for frequently making mistakes, including accidentally revealing the name of a losing contestant, and not being able to handle live TV.

He and Caroline were both unceremoniously dropped by show boss Simon Cowell, who brought back former host Dermot O’Leary.
And Olly, 32, admitted he struggled with depression after losing the job.
“Dealing with the pressure of this industry isn’t easy, it’s intense, it’s not like any other job,” he said, in an interview with The Sunday People.
“It’s crazy. On X Factor two years ago all the stuff that happened was intense.
“There was a lot of pressure on my shoulders hosting the biggest show at the time.
“I was having a difficult time but it could have got a lot worse. Luckily I have a great team around me who saw I was in that place and they got me out of it very quickly.
“We’ve all gone through tough times, you have to use those times and try to make them as positive as you can and move on,” he added.
“I’ve learnt from those times I felt down and depressed. I think positive, you can’t dwell on the past.”
Olly also admitted he had been a “work-obsessed zombie” earlier in his singing career, after he came second on The X Factor to Joe McElderry back in 2009.
But now, after joining the judging panel for a rival singing show The Voice UK, he is much happier.
Olly – who has sold 17 million records and had four number ones – has taken rocker Gavin Rossdale’s red revolving chair as a coach on The Voice UK.
He will be sitting alongside legend Sir Tom Jones, 77, Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am, 42, and Jennifer Hudson, 36, and hopes viewers will see a different side to him and be pleasantly surprised by his knowledge of the music industry.
But – as an old hand at the talent show game – he is already expecting criticism.
“People will be on Twitter and social media judging me,” he said.
“They’ll say good things and negative things like they hate the show. Well, why are you watching it then?
“But the most important thing is how I feel in my heart. I’m having a great time with these guys. I’m loving The Voice.”
One person who isn’t happy – according to reports – is his old boss Simon Cowell.
The music mogul is believed to be furious for Olly for not showing loyalty to The X Factor by taking the role on its rival.

But Olly, who admits he was never going to turn down such a great primetime role, says he’d welcome the chance to talk things through.
“It was really nice that when it was announced that I was doing The Voice I had loads of texts from loads of people,” he explains.
“Niall Horan from One Direction congratulated me, and people from X Factor. So everyone’s cool. It’s been lovely.”
