Our Girl’s emotional series finale left fans reeling as Elvis Harte – played by Luke Pasqualino – was killed off.
The devastating death happened just after it appeared that Elvis and Georgie – played by Michelle Keegan – had finally overcome their issues to reunite properly.
After Elvis had broken Georgie’s heart by standing her up on their wedding day, the pair had their fair share of baggage to deal with.

But over the last few episodes they seemed to be growing closer again, before finally reuniting in some passionate scenes.
“I know I’m never going to get rid of you,” Georgie said. “Never let me down again.”
Elvis assured Georgie he’d changed – and gave her a note, asking her to marry him.
As they headed off on their next mission, Georgie flashed her ring at him, as he smiled back at her.
But their joy was short-lived, as Section 2 were ambushed – and as Elvis explored a building, he found a bomb had been placed on the roof.
As he investigated, the bomb was detonated remotely via mobile phone.
He was flung from the building as Georgie watched in horror. She attempted to revive him, but it was too late – Elvis had breathed his last.
Viewers quickly took to Twitter to express their feelings on his death.
“Why have they killed Elvis off? Sobbing my little heart out,” one viewer shared, while another said: “Jeeze, killing off elvis has pretty much ruined everything then.”
Others claimed the character was the only reason they tuned in: “What’s mad is Elvis was the only reason I even watched this [bleeping] show.”
