Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen is putting her best foot forward for a new solo TV job.
The Channel 5 series that made her name concluded a fifth series earlier in November.
But mum-of-nine Amanda, 47, is moving on with a role for the BBC that doesn’t appear to include husband Clive Owen or their brood.
What TV show will Amanda Owen be involved in?
Amanda fronts a second series of Winter Walks for BBC Four. The run begins this evening (Monday, November 29).
She will be the first presenter of the four-part series, with other hosts including Alastair Campbell, Kate Bottley and Nihal Arthanayake.
Each episode will air nightly until Thursday, December 2.

The show follows Amanda as she hikes from Bainbridge and Lake Semer Water in North Yorkshire, exploring the strikingly beautiful fells.
On the way she takes ancient routes first made by the Romans and also meets fellow sheep farmers.

What has Amanda Owen said about Winter Walks?
Author and model Amanda has admitted the programme presents her with a new telly opportunity away from her family.
She said: “It feels just a bit strange because I’m on my own. There’s nobody nipping at my heels, there’s nobody asking questions.
It feels just a bit strange because I’m on my own.
“That’s not to say that I don’t like being out and about with the family and the children. Of course that’s great. But the old analogy, a dog being like its owner, is true.
“Sheep dogs can’t switch off. They just want to work, their minds are buzzing. That’s how I feel. So many different things coming at you from so many directions. A bit of head space is good for everyone.”
Amanda’s marriage
Last month Amanda and Clive issued a statement admitting that they are going through a rocky patch, following feverish speculation about the state of their relationship.
It read: “With the TV show and the books we’ve always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.
“We’re a normal family and we’ve never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately, the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we’re going through,” the couple told PA news agency.
“We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this.”
How fans reacted to Amanda’s Instagram post
Dozens of fans left appreciative comments and emojis on Amanda’s post, with many indicating they would be watching.
Another person speculated Amanda could be in line to feature on another rural-related show in the future.
They predicted: “I think Amanda will be presenting Country File soon.”

Other commenters made references to Amanda’s Our Yorkshire Farm family and co-stars, who are not expected to be involved in Winter Walks.
One wrote: “Super mum or what? You live a life I dream of!”
And another person, seemingly referring to Amanda being part of a show without Clive and the kids, asked: “Please don’t leave your family.”
Winter Walks airs tonight, Monday November 29, on BBC Four at 7.30pm.
