Penny Lancaster has revealed she once kicked a bus driver in the face and broke his nose to defend a partner.
On Wednesday’s Loose Women, the star recalled the moment during a discussion about road rage.
Penny, 48, said a bus driver called her partner at the time out of a fight after a disagreement on the road.

But Penny said her partner was “on his back with this driver twice his size over him with his fist back” and she feared the driver’s hit would be a “fatal blow”.
Penny, who is now married to Rod Stewart, explained: “My partner at the time was picking me up from the train station and happened to be in the path of a bus driver, who was annoyed that he had to maneuver around the car.
“They were signalling rude hand gestures at each other and the driver decided to abandon his bus and insisted my partner get out and have fisticuffs in the road to sort out the dispute.
“It went on and on and on, to the point where my other half was on his back with this driver twice his size leaning over him with his fist back. I thought, ‘this could be a fatal blow.'”
She continued: “So, Penny saw red, jumped out of the passenger seat and I grabbed the back of his hair and, I feel terrible saying this, I kicked him in the face.
“It stopped it, and the bus driver waddled back to the bus with a bit of a broken nose, I think!”
Penny said the bus driver “complained to the police” about her but as there were so many witnesses around them during the incident, the police said: “Penny acted in self-defence.”
She said: “He was the one that got the sack.”
Penny then joked: “[Rod] doesn’t have an entourage, he just has me!”

Penny and Rod recently celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary.
Sharing a photo of herself and Rod in Italy, where they tied the knot, Penny gushed over their wedding day.
She wrote: “Remembering 12yrs ago when we tied the knot and said forever in St Margarita/Portofino #Italy.”
