Peter Andre has revealed he is a relative of Love Island star Joanna Chimonides!
The Mysterious Girl singer explained he was stunned to discover their connection.
Pete realised they were related when speaking to Joanna’s father, who is a distant cousin.
The 46-year-old announced the random fact in his New! magazine column.
He began by saying he doesn’t agree with the way Michael Griffiths treated Joanna and Amber Gill, after the ex-Islander told both girls he likes them.
Pete said: “Speaking of Joanna, I’ve found out she and I are somehow related! I spoke with her dad – who’s a cousin of mine down the line – and realised the connection.”
The star, who was born in Australia, added: “It’s too complicated to explain, but it’s true.”

Pete also gave his thoughts about Michael in his column, following the firefighter’s love triangle with Joanna and Amber.
Pete continued: “I don’t like how he treated Amber last week – or Joanna for that matter. He’s probably a top bloke and I wasn’t perfect as a young man, but I’d be upset if Junior spoke to a girl like that.”
Pete has Junior, 14, and 11-year-old Princess with ex-wife Katie Price.
Pete’s revelation about distant relative Joanna comes after he has been continuously vocal about this year’s Love Island.
He previously defended Amber after she was dumped by Michael.

Sharing a picture of Amber on Instagram, Pete wrote in the caption: “I guess we only see a snapshot of convos on this show but this girl should not have been treated the way she was.
“Even if [Michael] didn’t realise how harsh he was, you gotta feel for Amber. She started out with a tough exterior but is now for me one of the nicest. #loveisland @amberrosegill #brutal.”
