A source is claimed to have said: “It’s always a huge moment for Corrie fans when the landlord of the Rovers changes hand.
“Their decision is a very reluctant one and the scenes are highly charged.
“Peter is so angry with Toyah and she’s very sorry and very teary.
“He refuses to run the pub with Toyah and says she can buy his half.
“Viewers are in for a bit of a rollercoaster.”
Toyah has been lying to Peter since their surrogate Jacqui miscarried their biological child back in January.
The vegan landlady then convinced confused Eva Price to give her the baby she was carrying and planned to abort.
Toyah and Eva were hoping to keep everyone else in the dark about their plan and pass Eva’s baby off as Toyah and Peter’s.
Georgia Taylor who plays Toyah recently spoke out about the crazy plan and revealed that her character is still grieving for the child she lost.
She said: “I think what’s actually really sad about it – and this will be dealt with later down the line – is that Toyah hasn’t properly grieved for the baby that she’s lost.
“The surrogate miscarried Toyah and Peter’s biological child, and Toyah’s just thrown herself into this crazy plan with Eva. I don’t think she’s really confronted her grief, so there’s a lot of stuff that still needs to be resolved.”

She will give birth to a baby girl in two weeks.
