Phillip Schofield has called on This Morning viewers to help find a missing homeless woman.
Earlier today, the daytime show featured a segment about helping dogs that live on the streets.

It saw TV vet Scott Miller head into Manchester with Street Paws, a charity that aims to help vulnerable dog owners and their pooches with free vet care and support.
Writing about the segment on Twitter, Scott said: “When it’s all you have to cling to in this world, the relationship between human and dog is even more special.”

At the end of the clip, a woman was seen wearing a blue hat and grey hoodie.
But after it aired, Phil revealed she has gone missing since the segment was filmed.
He told This Morning viewers: “Since we finished filming Claire, who we featured there and had the blue hat on at the end, has sadly been reported missing.
“If you have seen her or have any information please go to our website, you’ll find all the details you need.”
A statement on the show’s website reads: “If over the last three days you have seen or heard from the woman seen in our animal rescue film with Street Paws, please contact [email protected] as her family have reported her missing and are looking for her.”
Last November, This Morning featured a segment about re-homing adorable rescue puppies.
One of the pups shown was eventually adopted by Bake Off winner and former Dancing On Ice contestant Candice Brown.

Rochelle Humes, who was covering at the time for Holly Willoughby, admitted that she herself came close to taking the puppy home.

And Phil said of the news: “We love that, and that’s a very happy ending and we are of course doing this all throughout the year – attempting to re-home 52 dogs.”
But his on-screen relationship with man’s best friend hasn’t always been the easiest.
In 2017, the show’s resident pooch, a Labrador-Retriever cross called Digby, managed to accidentally catch Phil where it hurts.
