Phillip Schofield apologised as he asked a This Morning guest a “very intimate and personal” question on Monday’s show.
The presenter and his co-star Holly Willoughby met Pascale Sellick, who claims she will be marrying her DUVET.
Appearing on the show alongside her wedding planner Anna Fitzgerald, Pascale, 49, said she will be tying the knot with the quilt next month after finding “love at first sight” with it.

Pascale also revealed she does have a boyfriend called Johnny, but she still wants to marry her bedding in a ceremony.
A curious Phil, 56, was quick to ask Pascale about her and Johnny’s bedroom action.
He asked her: “Can I ask… and this is a very intimate and personal question. Sorry about this. Does Johnny share your duvet?”
Pascale replied: “Of course he shares my duvet. I don’t mind sharing my duvet.”
Giggling, Phil said: “It’s quite an open relationship then.”
Pascale insisted her relationship with her duvet is not sexual at all and described it as the most “intimate and reliable relationship” she’s ever had.
She explained: “It was love at first sight I think. I’ve had other duvets before, but I’ve always been loyal to this one. This is special.
“The duvet gives me warmth, comfort, is always there for me in times of sadness and happiness. I can rely on it. It’s definitely not sexual. It’s a close friendship. Everyone loves their duvet!”
And Johnny is all for the marriage and she added that her daughters think the wedding is “funny”.
Pascale said: “Johnny understands I’m marrying my duvet for art and to put across a message.
“We’re in a really loving relationship and he’s not jealous of my duvet. In fact, he’s very proud of me.”
Speaking about the lavish ceremony, wedding planner Anna explained: “I’m organising the person that’s going to take the ceremony. I’m organising the music and the after-party.

“I want the general public to turn up if they’ve never been a bridesmaid.”
Anna said the dress code is “dressing gowns, teddy bears, onesies and slippers”.
Viewers watching from home were left amused and baffled by Pascale’s story.
One person wrote on Twitter: “Oh ffs marrying her duvet? I’m so confused, so does this mean she can’t marry a person… how would a duvet sign papers for a divorce can’t cope.”
