John said: “I am delighted to co-host This Morning, it’s such an iconic show and to be reunited with Holly – a familiar face from my jungle family – is just fabulous. I’m really looking forward to it.”
A source on This Morning added: “John has great energy and combined with previous presenting experience will be a great fit for a live two hour show like This Morning.”
John, who has flown in from his home in Palm Springs to present the show, will only be standing in for Phillip for one show and the presenter will still appear on Sunday night’s Dancing On Ice live show as usual.

He said: “I’d love to invite them all, well I will invite them all. I’d love for them to be there. Hopefully it’ll be a big kind of reunion.”

However, Holly’s last reunion with I’m A Celebrity’s Nick Knowles didn’t go so well, when he launched into a rant on This Morning, calling the crew of the jungle show “unsupportive”.
He said: “They try to get under your skin. They make you tired and dehydrated,. We almost had trenchfoot. The bedding was wet all the time.”
