Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid seem to have great chemistry when they appear on our TV screens at breakfast time.
However, it’s been reported that when the pair first started working together, there was ‘genuine tension’ between them as Susanna bore the brunt of Piers’s strong opinions.
Susanna has revealed that internet trolls began saying “horrific things” about her for not opposing Piers’s strong views about women.
But Piers insisted that everything was OK between them now, and even suggested that they might be in a SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP if they were both single!

Piers has never been shy in expressing his views on the ITV breakfast show, and women have sometimes been the target of his vitriol.
On one occasion, he claimed that “rabid feminists” had hijacked the women’s movement.
Another time, he poured scorn on the 2017 march in Washington during which women protested about the views of Donald Trump.
And in an interview with the Mail On Sunday’s Event magazine, the presenter, 54, admitted he’d deliberately set out to rile Susanna, 48.
He said: “She was the queen bee and I was the alpha male. I felt I needed to shake her up a bit. But then I realised I went a bit too far.”
Susanna then spoke out about the abuse she’d received from internet trolls because of Piers’s comments.

She told the magazine: “I couldn’t believe I was getting attacked for what he actually said. People were saying horrific things about me, saying I wasn’t a feminist. Of course I am a feminist. And since when is it a feminist policy to blame the woman? I found the whole thing deeply upsetting.”
Despite the early tension between the two presenters, they were able to patch up their differences, with Piers explaining that they’d gone out and got drunk together in London.
And the turnaround in their relationship appears to have worked wonders for GMB, with the show enjoying its best-ever viewing figures this year.
Piers, who’s married to journalist Celia Walden, even joked that there was some sexual frisson between him and Susanna.
He told the magazine: “If we were both single, we’d be at it like stoats in a sack.”
Susanna split from her boyfriend, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish, earlier this year.
