Perpetually cross Piers Morgan momentarily turned his attention away from Meghan Markle on Good Morning Britain today to take a dig at co-host Susanna Reid.
Piers joked that he now identifies as “a penguin” in a debate about multiple genders and Susanna’s “massive salary”.
The GMB star launched into his latest rant after he learned that a gay penguin couple had adopted a gender neutral penguin at the London Aquarium.

Piers said: “I’m going to say that now I am identifying as a penguin and I demand to be allowed into the penguin enclosure at the aquarium and live with the penguins.
“This is the way the world is going, when I talk about this people go, ‘You are so intolerant’ and if you dare challenge these people they want you fired, expunged, sacked.”

Susanna, who was reportedly offered a £1million deal for hosting with Piers, replied: “I think if you want to identify as a pan penguin that’s fine.”
Piers yelled back: “It’s not fine! It’s not fine to tell six-year-old kids that you could be any one of 100 genders.
“It’s not fine that the BBC should be doing this.”

Piers added: “You women moan as well. Women have it so hard don’t they? They have it so hard. But you and your massive salary, working four days a week. Come on.”
Unfazed by his comment, Susanna told Piers: “I do think it’s confusing for children to learn about 100 gender identities.”

His outburst comes just days after he lashed out at his former school in East Sussex for banning their students from wearing skirts.
Lewes Priory brought in a gender neutral policy, which means skirts are no longer part of the uniform – and Piers was furious.
