Piers Morgan has revealed what Phillip Schofield said to him after This Morning beat Good Morning Britain in the Best Daytime Show category at the National Television Awards last month.
The presenter appeared on the daytime show on Tuesday to discuss his new show Confessions of a Serial Killer, but he had a bone to pick with the duo first.
Piers, 53, jokingly stole their award, telling viewers he was “reclaiming” the gong for GMB.

He said: “Let’s get this straight off the bat. I’ve come here to talk about something else but these two robbed me of a NTA a few weeks ago.
“Holly Willoughby was just feeling sorry for me, I said I had everything ready, the speeches and she went, ‘oh no.’
“She gave this little face she does, that little Diana impression.”
Holding the NTA trophy in his hands, Piers exclaimed: “This is ours. I’m reclaiming this for Good Morning Britain. This was stolen property and has been reclaimed.”
Holly jumped in, saying: “Well, if it makes you feel better that you have to steal one, rather than win one.”
Piers went on to reveal Phil’s hilarious reaction to their win, saying he acted like Don Corleone from The Godfather with a “Mafia blessing”.
He said: “As you two walked down, I thought I’d better try and pretend ‘well done’ and you, like Don Corleone, he kissed me on my head. Like a kind of Mafia blessing.
“That’s it, it’s like the kiss of death and you know what he says. He lent in and said, ‘take that you little…’
“Don’t be confused by their halos. Trust me, I know them.”

Jokes aside, Piers then congratulated the pair and admitted he is a “bad loser” who “hates” not winning.
Phil hit back: “I did not.”
He said: “You know congratulations. I’m a bad loser, what can I say? I hate losing.”
