Piers Morgan has risked reigniting his feud with Gordon Ramsay after slamming the TV chef’s food at the GQ Awards.
Gordon, who attended the annual ceremony with wife Tana, designed this year’s menu, but Good Morning Britain host Piers has said he wasn’t impressed.
During this morning’s GMB, the outspoken presenter wasn’t pulling any punches as he criticised Gordon’s vegan dinner option.

“You know what’s funny? Gordon Ramsay did the food and what was hilarious was, I had the crab and the beef wellington,” he said.
“Susanna went for the vegan option, my wife got given it even though she didn’t ask for it, and both of them declared it one of the most disgusting things they’ve ever eaten.”

Not stopping there, Piers continued: “So there’s the future. No more beef wellington. Gordon’s now into vegan food or pretending to be because it’s making him kerching. The truth is, it was inedible, horrible gruel. I had a beautifully cooked beef wellington, which was delicious.”
Taking a far less critical approach than Piers, Susanna then explained exactly what she had.
“I seemed to have a plate of lentils in a sort of red wine reduction.”
It’s unlikely Gordon’s going to be bothered by Piers’ comments as the last time the GMB host slated him , the Hell’s Kitchen star hit back with a few choice words.

Earlier this year, Gordon announced he was going to start offering a meat-free roast to which Piers shared an old tweet where Gordon had slammed veganism.
But unfazed, Gordon said during an appearance on James Corden’s The Late Late Show: “So Piers Morgan is now a food critic? Go and [bleep] yourself. Seriously!”
