GMB returned to our screens after the stricter COVID-19 measures started in the UK last week.
Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid discussed the failure of the 10pm curfew which saw punters head to the streets.
The new rule aims to reduce the spread of coronavirus and ensure the public maintain social distancing.
Although, as the ITV presenters pointed out, crowds were now heading to supermarkets to buy alcohol.
And the Good Morning Britain hosts were disgusted to find out the coronavirus rule did not apply to bars in parliament.
Piers condemns the government
This inconsistency enraged Piers, leading to him calling out the government: “It’s kicking out time for the entire country, apart from MPs…. Is that a joke? It’s one rule for us and one rule for them.”

Coronavirus 10pm curfew
Susanna Reid revealed that the bars are able to remain open past 10, as they are classed as a “workplace canteen”.
She joked that pubs and restaurants would have to try the same tactic to get around the new closing time.
“Bars and restaurants can be the workplace canteen for everyone locally who wants a drink after 10pm,” she quipped.
Piers added: “It is a real kick in the teeth.”

Parliament is exempt as bars stay open
GMB viewers agreed with the hosts and many were not surprised that there were different rules for the government and the public.
One fan took to Twitter to criticise this decision: “Well well well, it transpires that the bars in #Parliament are exempt from the 10pm curfew – who’d have thought it eh? It’s the #Cummingseffect again, one rule for us, one rule for them…you couldn’t make it up!”
Another Twitter user shared: “The pubs were managing great until the curfew. People were behaving. The government want to make people revolt back so they can close pubs! Looks like they are putting measures in that aren’t needed to annoy the public in order to blame them.”
However, some watching along at home believe the restrictions aren’t going far enough.
“Time to close the pubs completely if the young are just going to abuse the lockdown restrictions with their selfish actions. #GMB,” added another.
