Pregnant Helen Flanagan hospitalised with severe morning sickness

Poor girl!

Pregnant Helen Flanagan has revealed that she’s been hospitalised after suffering with a case of severe morning sickness.

The Coronation Street actress told fans that she’s over the worst of it, but still isn’t feeling quite herself just yet.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Helen posted a picture of her daughter Matilda and another of herself in her hospital bed holding a baby scan.

What did Helen Flanagan say?

She wrote: “I’ve been a lot quieter on my social recently as I’ve had hyperemis gravidum.

“I had this with both girls but this time was on another level. I am so relieved to be over the worst and so very happy and so grateful for my baby.”

Helen, 30 and Scott, 31, are already parents to daughters Matilda, five, and Delilah, two.

The star added: “My mum has just been the best and I have no idea how I would have got through it without her!

“Scott’s been amazing with the girls and the nurses at the Royal Bolton Hospital were so lovely which I’m so grateful for.”

Helen Flanagan announces she’s pregnant

Helen revealed on Tuesday that she is due to give birth in March 2021.

Posting pictures on Instagram which showed her two daughters holding pictures of her sonogram, she wrote: “Our 3rd baby arriving March 2021 @scotty__sinclair.”

Helen’s post has received comments from fellow TV stars who have congratulated her on the news.

These include Corrie co-stars Samia Longchambon and Kym Marsh, EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, Love Island star Maura Higgins and former Corrie and Our Girl star Michelle Keegan.

Meanwhile, Maura added: “Massive congratulations,” accompanied by a series of heart emojis.

Jacqueline said: “Eeeek so excited and happy for you my love.”

Michelle commented: “Awwwwww babe! Congratulations, so happy for you all!”

The mum of two says she is trying to be more authentic this year, and has said she has stopped editing her social media photos.

She wants to be a positive influence for her girls as they grow up.

Helen shared back in June: “I’ve decided to stop editing my pictures to be a better role model to my daughters beautiful lingerie set @pourmoiltd.

“I’ve been lucky enough to carry two healthy babies and nurse them both for nearly two years.

“My skin on my stomach has changed, my boobs massively have (no creepy comments from any creepy men here, this is a post about body confidence for other women, I will just delete and block).

“The change in my boobs definitely has made me feel less confident in myself but I wouldn’t change a thing.”
