ITV’s new documentary about Prince Charles has delighted royal fans and “restored” others’ faith in the monarchy.
Part one of Prince Charles: Inside the Duchy of Cornwall, which aired last night (24.10.19), took viewers behind the scenes of the prince’s vast private estate.
The two-part series is aiming to offer an insight into Charles’ efforts to build the Duchy of Cornwall, over the last 50 years, into a viable business.

The first of two episodes revealed how the Duchy turned a profit of £21m last year, but the focus was on the prince’s personal philosophies and how they fed into his work.
This included his devotion to supporting traditional methods in farming, and maintaining woodland and other aspects of the environment for future generations.
Many viewers reacted positively to the documentary on Twitter – with some even tweeting that it had restored their faith in the monarchy and boosted their opinion of Charles.
