Susanna Reid issued a warning to Richard Madeley ahead of his appearance on the new series of I’m A Celebrity.
Her Good Morning Britain co-host was confirmed as one of the ten campmates going into the 2021 show.
But she fears he may have brought bad luck on himself already.
Richard and his fellow contestants are enduring a two-week stretch in quarantine ahead of the show’s launch.
On the weekend, they’ll move into Gwrych Castle in North Wales ready for I’m A Celeb‘s launch on Sunday.
I don’t want to say that this is a bad omen but…
But in a video Richard filmed for GMB viewers, Susanna was shocked to see what she thinks could be a bad omen.

What did Richard say about I’m A Celebrity?
Speaking from a remote Welsh farm, Richard says: “I’m in quarantine, I’ve been in quarantine for about 10 days now.
“Which if any of you have been in quarantine, God, it’s boring! I mean, I would welcome any trial! Just something to do!”
“It’s very pretty though, I’m on a Welsh farm,” he continued as he panned the camera round to show off his rural surroundings, before adding: “So nice views and all the rest of it, but I just want to get started!”
He added that he’d been given some of the ‘costume’ and showed a pair of heavy duty boots and red socks on a table.
Richard said he didn’t know why they needed jungle boots for a Welsh castle, saying: “Perhaps it’s to keep the rats out.”

When the film ended and cameras returned to the GMB studios, Susanna shared her fears.
She said: “I don’t want to say that this is a bad omen but new shoes on the table?! Oh Richard, let’s hope he’d worn them at least once!”
Why did Richard finally agree to I’m A Celeb?
For years Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have been trying to persuade Richard, 65, to sign up to I’m A Celebrity.
The Mirror reported that Richard Madeley said: “It’s become part of the fabric of British life and part of the countdown to Christmas.
“It suddenly hit me that everyone talks about it the next day and I suddenly wondered what it would be like to be there rather than watching. I realised the time had come to experience it.”
And he’s up for some of the show’s infamous Bushtucker trials!
