Charlotte Hawkins brightened up the morning for GMB viewers today by wearing a very vibrant pink dress.
The former Strictly contestant, who was sent home from the current series last week, distracted both her co-hosts and those at home with her bright attire.
After she read the headlines, Richard Madeley, standing in for Piers Morgan this week, complimented her style.
He said: “We’re getting a lot of messages about that colour, they’re loving it, what is it?”
Blushing Charlotte replied: “Is it waking everyone up this morning?” before joking, “I have come as a pink highlighter pen!”

Her co-host Ranvir Singh then chipped in: “You’re certainly highlighting our morning.”
Richard later praised her choice of shoes, getting the camera to zoom in on her pale pink heels with giant bows on when she stepped out from behind the studio desk.
“It’s nice to be appreciated,” Charlotte replied.
Some viewers on Twitter also likened Charlotte’s look to a highlighter pen while others said the colour really suited her.
Charlotte shared a picture of herself in the dress on her Instagram account where she revealed it is from Ted Baker.
Her snap was met with more compliments from her followers.
One said “lovely colour dress” and another said the newsreader was “looking all kinds of WOW”.
Another said Charlotte’s wardrobe choice today was much better than the “old lady’s dress” she’d worn on yesterday’s show.
Charlotte danced with Brendan Cole on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing but she was gutted when she was the third celebrity to be booted off.

Referring to her choice of dress and her time on Strictly, she later joked to Richard, “don’t worry, I’m not going to rock out a Samba!”
