EastEnders favourites Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell were killed off at the beginning of the year in a dramatic episode that saw the pair tragically drown.
But apparently even death couldn’t stop them making a comeback this week… two lookalike blondes were ‘spotted’ in the cafe, catching up over a brew.
In the episode, the two are seen in the foreground of a scene between Max Branning and Kathy Beale, In the ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ moment, thy could have passed for the late sisters.

To add more fuel to the fire, a Twitter account claiming to be ‘Ronnie Mitchell’ claimed it was them…
The parody account ‘@RonMitchellEE’ tweeted: “So yeah, we’re back in the Square for a visit. Can you spot me and Roxy?”
Of COURSE, it was just a joke and the two women spotted on screen were just extras playing unknown Walford residents.
However, Roxy and Ronnie fans do often speculate that their death wasn’t final and are keen to see the pair back on screen.
One fan theory is that the pair have in fact run off to Ibiza to live the party lifestyle together.
The show faced a huge backlash from fans after the devastating New Year’s Day episode, which saw Ronnie drowning after trying to rescue her drunk sister from a swimming pool, with many viewers threatening to boycott the show.
Speaking about her departure from the show, Rita Simons, who played Roxy, said to the Express: “It was mutual, for a start so, you know, I wanted to go. A new boss came in, he wanted us to go, which we were all happy with.
“I had to get out of there, it was weird. I knew I had to get out of there because as an actor I needed to spread my wings.”

Rita, along with Samantha Womack who played Ronnie, left the show to pursue other projects, but there was speculation at the time as to whether the popular characters were pushed out by then EastEnders’ bosses.
We know we’d love to see Ronnie and Roxy back in Walford, but unfortunately, it looks like the pair are gone for good.
