Ruth Langsford debuted her new hair on today’s episode of This Morning (Friday, September 18) – and fans were delighted with the tansformation.
The telly fave, 60, had hair extensions put in to give her post-lockdown locks more body.

What did Ruth Langsford do to her hair?
Ruth, who normally rocks shorter hair, detailed her transformation on social media platform Instagram.
Pictured wearing a mask and sitting in a hairdresser’s chair, she told fans that hair extension tapes were “incoming”.
She captioned the image: “My hair extension tapes came out during lockdown and I hadn’t bothered replacing them….but I missed the extra body they give my hair.

“I don’t have them for extra length, just to add a bit of volume at the sides.
My hair definitely got thinner because of menopause so these really help.”

During the same session, Ruth also had highlights put in.
“Getting the full works today!” she said.
What did Ruth’s fans say?
It wasn’t long before many of Ruth’s 960,000 followers responded.
“I think you look lovely!” one follower wrote.

Ruth Langsford’s grief over her sister
Earlier this month, Ruth admitted that she has a “good old cry” in the shower over the death of sister, Julia.
Julia tragically took her own life in June 2019.

In an interview with Prima magazine, she said: “You can’t spend your whole life crying.
“I’ve done a lot of crying over my sister.
“It’s not even a sense of saying: ‘Pull yourself together and get back to work,’ it’s just that you have to get on with your life and you can’t get on with it if you’re crying all day.”
