Saffron Barker has thanked Strictly Come Dancing fans for their support following her elimination last night.
The YouTube star was voted out of the BBC competition alongside professional partner AJ Pritchard and viewers had a very mixed reaction.
Following her exit, Saffron shared a photo of herself and AJ to social media and admitted she’s “so sad” that her Strictly journey is over.

She wrote: “So so many emotions.. I am so sad because my Strictly journey is over but smiling because I so proud of myself for how far I’ve come.
“Sometimes you’ve got to give yourself a pat on the back and tell yourself you did good and that’s exactly what I’m doing right now.”
She added: “Thank you all for your continued support and to my amazing team (you know who you are) and of course to my incredible partner @aj11ace!!
“I couldn’t of wished for anyone else to of been partnered with. When I look back to week 1 & how nervous and scared I was, you always believed in me.
“Thank you for your patience and all your laughs.”
AJ commented: “Saffron just THANK YOU. Thank You.”
Fans gushed over Saffron’s post, with many gutted she has left the competition.

One person said: “We are all so proud of you,” while another wrote: “I’m so proud of you, you have so much talent and will be missed.”
A third added: “You did great, one of the best dancers.”
Last night, Saffron and AJ found themselves in the bottom two alongside Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.

On Saturday night, Saffron and AJ were at the bottom of the leaderboard with 26 points out of 40 for their Samba.
After their dance-off performances, the judges made the decision to send home Saffron.
A teary Saffron said: “I’ve had the time of my life and it’s all down to AJ.”
