It was supposed to be a classic Sunday night Jane Austen period drama.
But viewers of ITV’s Sanditon were shocked last night (29.9.19) when an x-rated fumble in the study exploded into life.
The sex scene left some ‘scarred for life’.

The eight-part series is based on literary fave Jane Austen’s last, unfinished novel.
And, in a face-reddening scene last night, villain Edward desperately tried to find Lady Denham’s will.
During the search, he was seduced by Clara, and proceeded to tear each other’s clothes off and started sexy wrestling on the floor.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to express their surprise… and their embarrassment.
