Comedian Seann Walsh has said he isn’t convinced he did “anything that wrong” after kissing his married Strictly dance partner Katya Jones, while he had a girlfriend.
During a stand-up gig at The Comedy Store in London on Monday night, Seann addressed the awkward situation, admitting he “[expletive] up”.
But he shocked the audience when he said he wasn’t sure he was in the wrong because his relationship was already “coming to an end” with then girlfriend Rebecca Humphries.
The 33-year-old said: “Look, I don’t really need to explain myself but I will anyway.
“I was coming towards the end of my relationship, I was getting on with this girl. You spend a lot of time with your dance partner on the show and we went for a drink and one thing led to the other. Most of you have seen the result.”
He then added: “I actually started to think to myself, ‘Hang on, have I actually done anything that wrong?'”
Unsurprisingly, he was met with some boos from the audience.
It comes amid rumours that Seann will not be going on the Strictly tour next year.
Seann had been dating his girlfriend for five years when he and Katya had a drunken snog in the street after Strictly rehearsals in October.
It also happened on actress Rebecca’s Birthday.

Rebecca immediately dumped him after the kiss and released a Twitter statement saying she would not be a “victim” in the situation.
Katya, 29, who is married to fellow Strictly pro Neil Jones, has stayed with her husband after the incident.
She tweeted at the time: “I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions.
“I wasn’t thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship.”
Soon after their slip up, both Seann and Katya went on BBC’s It Takes Two to apologise.
Seann said: “I would rather not have to address this publicly but I feel I have to. I made a mistake, which I’m very sorry for, I’m sorry for the hurt that I’ve caused.
“You never think about the extent of the damage that you’re going to do, in a moment of, you know the mistake that you’ve made. I’m not perfect, far from it. Our relationship wasn’t perfect. That doesn’t mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did, and I’m very sorry for that.

“I feel it’s also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, they know that I am not the person I’m being portrayed as. I’m still sorry for what I did, but it’s very important for me to get that out there.”
