As the show gears up for its fifth series, it was reported today (Thursday May 23) that the show’s producers have signed their first-ever plus-size contestant.
Size 16 model Jada Sezer is reportedly set to appear on the new series of the show and, while some have called the decision “fabulous”, others have said that Love Island bosses “need to do more” to promote body diversity.
It has also been reported that Strictly dancer AJ Pritchard’s younger sibling Curtis is set to star in the new series.
The 23-year-old will reportedly join the ITV dating show’s new line-up next month.
Curtis is a professional dancer like his brother, but now he is apparently going to try to find love in front of the nation.
The new series starts on Monday June 3 on ITV2.
