It has allegedly rumbled on for weeks, but the Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden ‘feud’ has taken another turn.
Amanda’s Britain’s Got Talent boss Simon Cowell has come out in support of the star.

Last week, ITV defended This Morning host Phil, but according to The Sun, Simon telephoned 48-year-old Amanda to offer his support.
“I respect her for standing up for herself,” he said.
“Am I on her side? She’s back on the show. I can’t make it clearer than that.”

Simon’s new show BGT Champions soon starts production and Amanda will ‘reunite with judges Alesha Dixon and David Walliams’.
It has also been reported that Simon has also given Amanda a pay rise.

Reports surfaced that Amanda had allegedly claimed that ‘overbearing’ Phillip cost her the This Morning presenting job when co-host Holly Willoughby went to Australia to stand in for Ant McPartlin on I’m A Celebrity.
Amanda then named Phillip Schofield as one of three things she wouldn’t want to find in her house.
Last week, it was reported that Holly was keen to play peacemaker between Phillip and Amanda following reports of their fall out.
Holly, 38, was said to be willing to smooth things out between her co-host and Amanda.
