Documentary presenter Stacey Dooley has called boyfriend Kevin Clifton “amazing” as she was quizzed about their relationship during a radio interview.
The pair, who won last year’s Strictly Glitterball trophy together, have largely kept their romance under wraps.
But Stacey “walked” into talking about her boyfriend during the chat with Angela Scanlon on BBC Radio 2.
Stacey, who was initially discussing her new documentary Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, was then quizzed about Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the show’s launch on September 7.
“Are you sick of talking about it [Strictly]?” Angela, who was standing in for Dermot O’Leary, asked.
“No, I’m alright actually,” Stacey, 32, told Angela. “And I feel, I was sort of saying earlier, the idea that some people in the country get behind you and they’re, ‘Come on Stace!'”
“There’s an ownership, isn’t there?” Angela replied.

“You’re so, so, sort of… wrapped up really and so supported. And you just fall in love with the general public.”
Angela then appeared to press Stacey for some relationship gossip, adding: “And…” before trailing off.
“I don’t really have that relationship when I’m doing docs.”
After realising what she had just said, Stacey commented: “Here is my girl.”
“You walked yourself into that one, Dooley,” The One Show star laughed before pressing: “How is all that going?”

“Yeah, do you know, it is brilliant and Kevin is amazing. And he’s busy and we danced together last night so…
“It was the pre-record for Strictly, which I think launches next Saturday.”
Kevin and Stacey famously won the Glitterball trophy together. They went public with their relationship in late April when they posted their first Instagram picture together.
It’s thought they got together after Stacey split from ex-boyfriend Sam over Christmas.
Heartbroken Sam later hit out at Kevin, branding the professional dancer a “slimy snake”.
Apparently responding, Stacey later said there were “two sides to every story”.
Writing on Twitter, the TV personality explained: “Anyone with any adult life experience knows there are two sides to every story. I haven’t got the time or energy to correct some of the utter nonsense I’ve read on here.
“Re Sam, I loved him v much and only wish him happiness and success going forward,” the Strictly Come Dancing star added.
