Stacey Solomon was repeatedly smacked on the hand by her fellow Loose Women panellists today as they ironed out a debate about discipline.
The women were discussing a new law passed in Jersey, which bans smacking children, and posed the question: “Does smacking lead to a violent child?”
But Stacey ended up being the guinea pig for demonstrations as she sat between Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore on the panel and she joked that she shouldn’t have come to work.
Jane, 56, said during their conversation: “Define smacking.”
She then took Stacey’s hand and gave it a small smack to question what defined the act.
Nadia, who agrees with the law, then got involved as well!
The 54-year-old grabbed Stacey’s other hand and did the same thing, questioning if even a “tap” is right.

Unsuspecting Stace then rubbed her hands jokingly and looked down at them, before Jane proceeded to take her hand back to try to continue the discussion.
The 28-year-old then mused: “I shouldn’t have come in today!”
The former X Factor star, who has sons Zachary, 10, and eight-year-old Leighton, then admitted that she was a very “naughty” teenager but she revealed she doesn’t smack her children because she would feel too “guilty”.

Mum-of-two Nadia said she would like to see the same ban come into effect in Britain.
She said: “It always really, really upsets me if I see a child being smacked. So I am for a law against it.”
She also explained: “All I ever felt when my mum smacked me was resentment. I never felt I had done something wrong…”
