Stacey Solomon got rather passionate on today’s Loose Women as she discussed when it’s appropriate to introduce a new partner to your children.
The panel had started by debating when it’s the “right time” to move on and start dating again following the death of a partner.
That led to the topic of when it’s right to introduce kids to a new partner.
Stacey, a mother of two young children, spoke out after fellow panellist Gloria Hunniford suggested it was best to know the relationship was going somewhere before getting kids involved.

The former Queen of the Jungle felt it’s impossible to know where a relationship is going and spoke about feeling “judged” in the past about this issue.
“That’s a broad statement. When does anybody know a relationship is going anywhere? I think we have to be careful how we say things,” said Stacey.
“I have never lost a partner to death but I have lost a partner and there was a lot of judgement on when I would introduce somebody to my children.
“I felt under so much pressure to wait a certain amount of time and do right by the kids. The reality is I live with my two kids. If I sneak off to meet somebody they will know about it.
“Every circumstance is different.”
Stacey did not specify which relationship or partner she was talking about, or when it happened; she’s currently dating fellow TV presenter Joe Swash and has two sons, Zachary, nine, and Leighton, five, from previous relationships.
Meanwhile, Stacey’s eagerly awaiting the return of Joe to the UK.
He’s been over in Australia for more than a month co-hosting I’m A Celebrity spinoff Extra Camp, while Stacey has been in the UK.
She jetted out to Oz to visit him briefly at the start of the series, but since then they’ve been on opposite sides of the world.
