Help was at hand when Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid had a “professional marital spat” on today’s Good Morning Britain.
Jeremy Kyle popped in from a neighbouring studio to see if he could sort the co-hosts out after they had a war of words.
It all started after the pair squabbled over Brexit with an angry Piers ending their row by telling Susanna “I’m glad I’m not married to you!”
He later said he may need to seek a “TV marriage divorce”.
The tension between the pair led one viewer to tweet in with her concern.
Louise wrote: “This morning I saw a real divide/coolness between you both, during the hug it out comments you both have a partnerships/banter which has made you both top presenters, sad to see.”
Piers had to reassure Louise that it was “just a little tiff” but said he wouldn’t be able to “hug it out” with Susanna given the “current climate” of what is appropriate physical contact between work colleagues.
So instead, they invited Jeremy on to give them some “marriage counselling.”
“Let’s bring him in as we’re having a little tiff!” Piers said as they heard Jeremy was passing by.
JK then took a seat on the stage like he does on his show so the pair could air their grievances.
Piers complained: “She never lets me get a words in edgeways!”

But he was soon put in his place by Jeremy in his indomitable style.
He shouted at him: “That’s not true gobby is it! You need to respect women more Morgan and let them speak!”

After he left, Susanna joked: “I’m not sure that resolved anything!”
But Piers later told viewers all was fine between the two of them and he wouldn’t need to find a replacement.
Which Susanna joked was just as well, as there are not many other presenters who would put up with him!
