We all know James Jordan isn’t shy of sharing a controversial opinion, but some of his old tweets are now coming back to haunt him…
The Dancing On Ice star was forced to laugh off reports of a backstage feud after an old comment about fellow contestant Brian McFadden resurfaced – where he threatened to “smash his face in”.
In the original comment, James, 40, tweeted the Westlife singer about a golf game, writing: “I’m jealous mate….. Play well or I’ll smash your face in.”
When it resurfaced, Brian, 38, rushed to defend his new friend, tweeting: “This [bleep] annoys me. He was clearly making a joke. We say this line to each other everyday. @The_JamesJordan has no intention of smashing anyone’s face in 😂😂😂😂 but if he beats me. I’ll smash his face in!!”
The axed dancer retweeted the message, with three laughing emojis.
Fellow DOI star Ryan Sidebottom also waded in to call the reports “loads of rubbish”.
The cricketer wrote: “What a loads of rubbish!!! @The_JamesJordan is a pussycat and one of the nicest blokes I know. Made a friend for life in him. Don’t believe everything you read in the papers 🙄 love you James (and @BrianMcFadden so you don’t get jealous 🤪🤪) #bromance.”
But The Mirror claims that the axed Strictly dancer hasn’t just publicly attacked the singer, but many of his new DOI colleagues, including Gemma Collins and Saira Khan.
They report that James once tweeted about The Apprentice star: “You could call Saira a bully I feel. It’s because of the way she speaks to people, she’s condescending… Saira has come across pretty nasty. I don’t like Saira.”
He has also spoken about controversial TOWIE star Gemma Collins when she was on Celebrity Big Brother.
Polling his followers, he asked: “DO U LIKE GEMMA AS A PERSON IN @bbuk? I like her as a housemate but would vote NO as I can’t stand her as a person.”
He also apparently slammed the show’s presenter, Phillip Schofield back in 2015, moaning about his programme, You’re Back In The Room, writing: “I love @Schofe but I don’t buy this new show at all….I’m not a believer so I don’t find it funny in the slightest. Not quite The Cube.”

Feud or not, James has admitted to feeling “uncontrollable nerves” ahead of his appearance on the icy ITV show.

He recently tweeted: “So guys it’s almost time for @dancingonice. We performed today in front of producers and co stars and I had uncontrollable nerves. I used to get nervous on Strictly but NOTHING like this. I even forgot my routine 🙈. I’m just hoping I can entertain you all and have your support.”
