Huge five-figure sum Stephen Mulhern is earning each week ‘revealed’

It's more than you think!

TV presenter Stephen Mulhern has cemented his place among the richest stars in entertainment – with earnings reported to be a staggering £80,000 per week.

The 47-year-old host’s yearly income reached an impressive £4 million in 2023, it’s claimed. These earnings push his total wealth to an alleged £12 million.

Stephen will be headlining ITV’s You Bet! this weekend – alongside co-host Holly Willoughby. The game show originally aired between 1988 and 1997 – and was hosted by a variety of high-profile stars, including the late Sir Bruce Forsyth.

In August 2024, ITV announced that they would be producing two special revival episodes – which Stephen and Holly will be hosting. The first of the two episodes will air this Saturday (December 7) on ITV1.

Stephen Mulhern’s eye-watering income

Stephen’s skyrocketing income comes from a host of high-profile roles. He recently joined Dancing on Ice as a co-host and is the new face of the revived Deal Or No Deal.

Alongside his TV appearances, Stephen also has a summer residency at Butlin’s holiday parks. He also has a property portfolio said to be worth millions.

Adding to his financial empire, the presenter has published a range of best-selling children’s books.

If that wasn’t enough, he also runs Blue Eye Productions, his production company – which reportedly brought in over £300,000 a month between February 2023 and 2024. That means, he’s earning as much as £80k per week!

Stephen’s health scare

Despite his enormous success, Stephen faced a health scare recently when he collapsed at a Pizza Express in Berkshire. The incident occurred after he reacted to an anesthetic taken earlier that day.

A spokesperson for Stephen said: “Stephen has had an incredibly tough time over the past few weeks. His beloved father recently passed away, which has hit him hard and has been understandably very stressful.

“In addition, he had a procedure which took place yesterday. Following the anesthetic that was administered, he had a few drinks which made him unwell and he was taken in to hospital as a precaution. He is now back home recovering.”

Staff at the restaurant grew alarmed and called an ambulance when Stephen fell ill around 8pm. He was taken to the hospital and has since been recovering with support from ITV bosses, his team, and his close friend Holly Willoughby.

Born in East London to market trader parents Christopher and Maureen, Stephen first found fame as a magician before transitioning to television. After getting his start on CITV with children’s shows, he steadily worked his way to becoming a household name.

With his earnings showing no signs of slowing down and a string of new projects on the horizon, Stephen Mulhern continues to be one of the most sought-after stars in the UK.

You Bet! with Stephen Mulhern airs on Saturday, December 7, at 8:15 pm on ITV1.
