Strictly fans have a new fear that one of the pro dancers could quit after this 2023 series.
Last night’s results show saw Eddie Kadi and pro partner Karen Hauer leave the competition. It sparked quite a bit of uproar, with many saying Eddie was ‘robbed’ of staying for another week.
But there’s also been some concerns for Karen.
Strictly 2023 fears for Karen Hauer
Some viewers are worried Karen is going to leave the show completely, even though the dancer hasn’t hinted she might. One person said on X – formerly Twitter: “I can see Karen quitting next series.”
Another wrote: “Agree, along with Gorka [Marquez].”
Another replied: “Sad but true.”
Someone else admitted: “I hope not but I think her and Gorka might leave, which would be a real shame, Karen is my favourite pro.”
Over the course of the series, some fans have expressed concerns for some of the pros. Following Gorka Marquez’s exit from the competition earlier this month with celeb partner Nikita Kanda, some fans speculated whether he will leave.
One fan said online: “I worry he might leave Strictly behind after all that.”
Another wrote: “Anyone else have a feeling that Gorka will call it a day after this series if he’s out early doors with Nikita?”
“He looked so mad when he didn’t win and I thought he would just throw in the towel and spend time with his family,” another added.
Bookies have also predicted that Gorka may leave after this series.
Giovanni Pernice news
There’s also been fears for Giovanni Pernice. He was out early during last year’s series when he was partnered with Richie Anderson. The previous year he had won the competition with Rose Ayling-Ellis.
This year, he’s partnered with Amanda Abbington. However, on Monday, the pair announced they were stepping down from the competition.

Over the summer, some fans worried about Giovanni returning to Strictly after he announced yet another project. One person said: “Gio whatever happens do not leave Strictly, please and thank you.”
Speaking to Betway last month, dancer Joanne Clifton said of Giovanni’s future as a pro dancer: “Many of us would like to have a go at judging. I can see Giovanni Pernice going for it in a couple of years’ time.”
There’s no sign of any pros leaving the series completely yet, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!
