Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu looked “on the brink of tears” following her performance last weekend, a body language expert has claimed.
TV presenter AJ and her professional partner Kai Widdrington danced a Couple’s Choice to Make Me Feel by Janelle Monáe.
However, according to Judi James, AJ and Kai’s off-floor body language has been hinting at a bit of a “cooling-off”.

Ms James told Buzz Bingo: “When they stand on the balcony Kai still uses the ‘gentleman’s hand’ gesture, placing one hand on AJ’s waist but in a very polite and slightly raised position.

“And AJ seems to be on the brink of tears a lot.”
Following their performance, Kai sparked reaction from viewers on Twitter after patting AJ’s bottom as they hugged.
Ms James said of the intimate move: “Kai’s bum-pat to AJ looked like a first on the show.
“Bum-patting is naughty and implicitly sexual and, as a ‘power-pat’, risks being seen as patronising and superior, so would Kai have risked it had they not had some kind of established relationship?
“It did seem to break the dancer/celebrity code otherwise.”
AJ and Kai have sparked romance rumours throughout this year’s series.
However, they haven’t confirmed whether anything is actually going on.
Ms James concluded: “AJ and Kai have also been teasing out a relationship but their timeline has been more consistent and, as both are single, any flirting has come with a Strictly stamp of approval.”
Meanwhile, it comes after Kai sent fans of Strictly into a frenzy with his ‘bum-pat’.
One person said on Twitter: “It’s the bum slap at the end of AJ and Kai’s dance for me.”
Another added: “Yeah we all saw that cheeky little pat on her bum Kai!”
However, some people took issue with the move.

One wrote: “@bbcstrictly please can someone tell Kai to never never smack any woman on the bum even if she’s done the most fantastic dance.”
