On today’s episode of the daytime talk show, Amy spoke with hosts Sian Welby and Craig Doyle.

Beyond sharing her experience with cancer, the Strictly star also unveiled some news that sent waves of excitement through the show’s fans: the confirmed return date of Strictly.

You’re all going to have to wait and watch the launch show.

Confirming the launch show for the new Strictly series, Amy said: “You’re all going to have to wait and watch the launch show,” adding, “it airs on September 14th”.

Never missing a beat to honour her Strictly crew, Amy also expressed gratefulness for the support she received during her cancer battle.

“The Strictly family, they were there with me every step of the way and I can’t say too much, but dancing again, a very special number, it was so emotional and so lovely,” Amy gushed. “I just can’t stop smiling.”

Amy’s warmth and excitement for dancing were palpable. “The male professionals lifted me up at the end of a routine, and it was just surreal to be back performing with them,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Amy also revealed that she will continue to receive an injection every month for the next five years. However, she confirmed that she “everything is positive”.

Amy opened up about the cathartic process behind penning a book and filming her documentary about her cancer battle. She described them as forms of “therapy,” helping her process the reality of living in “survival mode” for so long.

Unfortunately, the 34-year-old faced a new health scare this year. Concerns over breast abnormalities led to Amy being rushed back to the hospital for further tests.

“It felt crushing, I felt sick to my core and so many sleepless nights worried,” Amy admitted, but ultimately, she received an all-clear from her consultant.
