Strictly Come Dancing fans are in a state of cringe over Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s joke about Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’ drunken kiss.
The dance partners were pictured on the front page of a national newspaper drunkenly kissing behind their partners’ backs.
And in tonight’s show the hosts joked about having a quiet week apart from the “odd headline”, but it didn’t go over well.
As well as near silence in the studio, viewers at home were less than impressed and cringing at the comment.
One said: “#strictly Not a laughing matter… That kiss broke up a relationship!!! Stop going on about the headlines.”
Another added: “Was it really necessary for them to mention the headlines on strictly, don’t you think it’s been blown out of all proportion. As the British public will probably vote them out anyway.
“Some people need to look at themselves before commenting.”
A third asked: “Right, does anyone have a 9 yr old friendly explanation for the jokes about the headlines etc in #Strictly?”

Meanwhile Ashley Roberts and Pasha danced a Tango, Casualty star Charles Venn and Karen took on a Salsa and Dr Ranj and Janette performed a Paso Double.
Danny John Jules and Amy performed the Viennese Waltz and Steps star Faye Tozer and Giovanni danced a Rumba.
Cricket legend Graeme Swan and partner Oti did the Jive while YouTube star Joe Sugg performed the Cha Cha.
