The Strictly curse appears to have struck again, as show pro Katya Jones has revealed she and fellow dancer Neil Jones have decided to split.

She shared the news on Twitter and Instagram this afternoon, writing: “As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news.
“After 11 years, we have made the mutual decision to separate.
“We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends.
“This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
“Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects.
“No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.

The couple’s marriage hit the headlines last year when, some weeks into the latest run of Strictly Come Dancing, Katya was caught on camera snogging her celebrity partner Seann Walsh.
The fling destroyed his relationship with girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, but Neil decided to stand by his wife.
He said of the incident: “I can accept people make mistakes.”
“My mum always said: ‘People make mistakes in their lives. Don’t react, try to understand’. So that is how it always is for me.”
Seann said at the time of the drunken kiss: “Obviously I was stupid and I was selfish and I was hurtful to someone that I cared about and someone that I respected, and I still care about and still respect.
“I will always be sorry about what I did.”
