Strictly Come Dancing is set to look very different when it returns later this year, with the latest rumoured changes to the line-up being the biggest surprise yet.
Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has been named as one of the favourites to bag herself a spot on Strictly 2020, despite the fact the BBC has previously banned reality stars from making an appearance.
In fact, bookmakers have slashed Molly’s odds of signing up to just 3/1.
Strictly ends reality star ban?
Coral’s John Hill told The Sun: “Molly-Mae was one of the stars of Love Island in 2019 and our betting suggests her next challenge could come on the Strictly dance floor this year.
“Although we wouldn’t rule out Molly-Mae, she is not amongst the early favourites to lift the Glitterball Trophy.”
Previously, judge Craig Revel Horwood said that stars like Molly were not “high calibre” enough for the show.
Fans will remember that former TOWIE star Gemma Collins was famously rejected from appearing on the 2017 series.
Craig said at the time that it would be “fun” to have her on the show, but added: “It’s not often we have reality stars”.
Gemma later told The Sun: “I find his comment funny. I’m not low rent, Craig.
“We’ve all got to start somewhere and it’s a shame to just knock someone out of giving them a chance because they don’t think I’m high calibre enough.
“Well I’m sorry I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I get 2.2m hits on social media. Where did he start? He was just a dancer and I was just a girl from Romford once.”

However, ITV’s Dancing On Ice achieved a resurgence in popularity after inviting stars such as Maura Higgins onto the show.
So it looks as if the Beeb could be ready to change its tune.

Strictly 2020 line-up
This year’s Strictly Come Dancing could be one of the show’s most star-studded yet.
Phillip Schofield is reportedly set to be one half of the first same-sex couple to appear on the dance-floor.
BBC bosses are apparently pushing for Phillip to be a part of the historic moment after he came out as gay in February.
Other celebs rumoured to be taking part include Katie Price and presenter Maya Jama.

When does Strictly Come Dancing 2020 start?
Rehearsals for the new series are due to kick-off at the end of the summer.
The show will then air in late October, and preparation has already been made to keep rehearsals safe.
The BBC said: “The team are doing everything they can to bring the nation plenty of Strictly magic.
“To ensure we deliver the high standards audiences know, this year’s series of Strictly will have a shorter run than usual.
“The safety of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance to us. Further updates will be made in due course.”
