There’s nothing like a fresh hairdo to make you feel brand new, and Strictly Come Dancing pro Karen Clifton has had the chop!
She unveiled her much shorter hairstyle on Instagram on Monday and admitted she was craving a change following the Strictly final.
The 36-year-old captioned the pic: “Never be afraid to make changes because of what people will think of you or because they won’t like it. Being happy with who you want to be is what matters.”
Karen also revealed that she is on a quest to “fine tune” who she is.
She added: “Chopped a bit of my hair to feel refreshed and to continue fine tuning the person I am. Just happy. Just me.”
The professional dancer, who was partnered with Charles Venn this series, also shared a video of her lengthy transformation in the salon with her Instagram followers.
Her hairdresser could be seen taking the clippers to her hair and giving her a brighter, blonder colour.

Fans rushed to compliment the star on her new look with one person commenting: “Stunning!”
“You look lovely!” wrote one, while another added: “Love it! Really suits you”.
It was an emotional Strictly final for Karen this year.
After her ex-husband Kevin Clifton won the show with journalist Stacey Dooley, Karen was seen running onto the dance floor to congratulate him.

She posted a heartfelt message for Kevin, 36, on Instagram too. It read: “So proud and extremely happy for you guys.
“Kev – 5x finalist and you finally did it!! Your hard work, patience and pure brilliance paid off. So proud of you x.”
She revealed she is now heading home to New York for Christmas to spend time with her family.
