Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were left fuming as issues with the show’s voting system plagued the final.
After finalists Karim, Emma and Kelvin had each danced their judge’s pick during tonight’s (14.12.19) grand finale, host Tess Daly told viewers at home to get voting for their favourite performances so far.

One said on Twitter: “I cannot vote online, what is wrong? #StrictlyFinal.”
Another wrote: “Yet again, gone to vote and it has told me I’ve reached the max votes before I’ve even done anything! What is wrong with the voting system? #StrictlyFinal.”
A third tweeted: “Online voting wrong – haven’t had all my votes #StrictlyFinal How can the vote be fair? @BBC.”

It follows reports that the programme’s iconic Glitterball trophy was in trouble ahead of the final.
The trophy was said to have ‘fallen apart’ just hours before tonight’s show – and bosses now believe it to be ‘cursed’.

It’s been reported that the three remaining celebrities were due to pose with the trophy before their last performances of the series.
But just before they arrived for the shoot, despite the trophy being new, it ‘mysteriously’ began to shed some of its mirrored pieces, with a source telling the Daily Star: “Strictly’s known for its curses with romances and now we have a new one.”
