Shirley Ballas has offered Strictly Come Dancing fans a look behind the scenes ahead of the new series’s launch next week.
The judge, 58, took to Instagram to post a clip of herself getting her hair and make-up done in her dressing room, where she teased her followers about “exciting times ahead”.
The post also included a snap of Shirley, hair still up in rollers, sitting behind the iconic judging panel alongside fellow judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli.

She wrote in the caption: “Just had a run through downstairs. Such an amazing group. Professional dancers, celebrities, and all who work behind the scenes to make this show one of the best in the world.
“Follow along, give me your thoughts. Exciting times ahead.”
In the clip she tells the camera, as she holds her phone up to the changing room mirror: “We are now doing the make-up. We’ve already been down, we’ve already done the judges’ run-through and Motsi was very at home, so it was marvelous.
“Getting there! Getting ready to go.”
Shirley followed it up with another video revealing what she’ll be eating every day as the Strictly crew prepares for series 17.
The clips shows her still in her dressing room, this time holding up a bag of chicken from a supermarket deli counter.
She jokes to the camera: “What have I got here? You see, well, we’re in the process of doing hair but my chicken came to visit me!”

Though Strictly doesn’t land on our screens until next Saturday (07.09.19), the latest series formally kicked off with a lavish red carpet event on Monday.
Shirley looked glamorous as ever at the glitzy evening do, although she did suffer a wardrobe malfunction during rehearsals.
The judge was strolling across the stage area in a white and blue gown with Bruno when she hitched the skirt up – accidentally flashing her knickers.
