Kevin Clifton has seemingly responded to claims he’s ‘furious’ about being paired with Anneka Rice on Strictly Come Dancing.
It had been claimed last year’s Glitterball champ, 36, was upset with his new partner because he wanted to be paired with someone younger.
However, the dancer appeared to set the record straight today with an Instagram video of him praising partner Anneka.
Setting the record straight, Kevin said he’s “very impressed” and “very happy” with the 60-year-old TV star.
Anneka added in the video shared on her Instagram page: “Kevin is still smiling, I love that so much. Honestly Kevin, that’s almost the best day I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
Kevin continued: “Oh, listen to you, you were brilliant, you were amazing today.”

Speaking about their first training session, Anneka told fans: “We’re in a studio, the great thing is there’s a café just one floor down so every time it gets a bit whatever Kevin goes and has a black coffee, I have a bun, a cup of tea and then we carry on!
“Oh Kevin, I love you! I’m really buzzing as they say on Love Island,” she says excitedly at the end of the clip.
The former BBC presenter captioned the video: “FIRST DAY AT DANCE SCHOOL! I LOVED IT! Kevin is a dream.”

A report claimed Kevin felt he was being punished by being paired with Anneka because of his romance with Stacey Dooley.
“Kevin has told pals he would have preferred someone like Catherine Tyldesley or Alex Scott,” a source alleged to The Sun.
They added: “But although Anneka is willing, her age and agility means he won’t be able to throw her around like he did previous partners.”
As well as documentary maker Stacey, Kevin’s past Strictly partners include Susanna Reid, Louise Redknapp and Frankie Bridge.
