Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden was rushed to hospital in an ambulance over the weekend and ended up missing Saturday’s live show (November 27).

“I’m recovering very well and certainly being well looked after and look forward to returning to the dance floor.”

As a result, she then paid tribute to her 2021 Strictly celebrity partner and his wife.
Omg you’re looking so much better than when I last saw you as we closed the doors on the ambulance as they carted you off on Friday night.
“To the Fletchers who made sure I had everything and more at the hospital, have brought me back to theirs where the whole family are giving me all the love, care, burnt toast (Tom), unlimited supply of @mrsgifletcher clothes along with @tomfletcher sock choice 😜 you could possibly need, lots of drawings and pretend injections from my new doctors Buzz, Buddy and Max.
“Thank you, they really were sent to me,” she declared.
Tom and Sara left with ‘tears in their eyes’
Sara Davies also commented and revealed she and Tom were close to tears when Amy was taken to hospital.
“Omg you’re looking so much better than when I last saw you as we closed the doors on the ambulance as they carted you off on Friday night,” she said.
“Me and Tom were just watching them drive off into the night with tears in our eyes!”
