Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Peaty has revealed a secret injury he battled before his exit from the show.
Adam‘s Strictly journey came to an end at the weekend when he was voted off the show by the judges.
The Olympic star, 26, has confessed that he was secretly battling to keep his broken body hidden from viewers.
During an appearance on It Takes Two, Adam revealed he was hiding his injuries from fans.

“I can say this now, normally I’d keep this under wraps but my ankles were going, my calf was going,” he said.
“I was trying to do as many runs as I can but the jive is one of those dances that requires 150%.”
Adam battled in the dance-off against Tilly Ramsay and sadly lost his place in the competition.
It marked the end of his journey with dancer Katya Jones and made the couple the sixth to be eliminated overall.

“The judges have a role and I think they did that very fairly,” he continued. “I’ve got nothing against that and as a competitor, you’ve got to respect that and I have respect for that.
“But it is what it is, isn’t it? I gave absolutely everything to Katya, I gave absolutely everything to myself but hopefully, we gave a good laugh to everyone at home.”
Katya praises Adam
His partner, Katya, went on to add that it was amazing to see Adam be so confident out of his comfort zone.
“We’ve been so privileged to have our Olympic hero throw himself completely out of his comfort zone,” she said.

“I’ve just loved every single day. I’m sure everyone would be very grateful for those tight trousers [in the Samba]!”
“You rose to the challenge. You inspired everyone to believe that you can do anything if you apply yourself,” she added. “Thank you for everything – I’m still not ready to go!”
