Alexandra Burke hasn’t had the easiest ride during her time on Strictly Come Dancing.
While she may have made it through to this weekend’s finale, she’s had to endure pretty constant digs, including accusations she ‘fakes’ her reactions when getting through each week.
The online abuse got so bad that Alex, 29, has admitted breaking down behind the scenes.

In a new interview with The Mirror, she said: “I can’t help reading the negative comments on social media about me, and it can upset me, I’m only human. There have been days when I’ve broken down.”
Alexandra also fiercely denied (again) that she ever ‘fakes’ her reaction to getting through each week, insisting she’s genuinely shocked and thrilled when it happens.
She said: “It’s just a shame some people can’t see how hard I’m working – there’s nothing fake about that.
“Gorka and I know what the truth is.”
Alexandra and Gorka will now face off against three other couples in Saturday night’s live finale.
No pressure, there!
They had a rocky patch recently when they landed in the bottom two twice in a row, before getting through to the finale last weekend on the public vote alone.
Appearing on It Takes Two last night, Alex said: “I was over the moon. We both were. We definitely thought for a second that if we were going to be in the bottom two again, let’s just dance our lives away.
“I cannot put into words how it felt to get into the final with the public vote. I’m so grateful to those who have supported us and voted for us.
“We owe it to each and every person and we are dancing for them this weekend.”
This year’s Strictly final will have one major change from previous years: there will be no early elimination mid-way through the show.
In previous years, all four couples have performed two dances each, before one was voted out, leaving three to progress to a further dance.
So all four finalists will be performing three times.
They will perform a Showdance, a Judges’ Pick and their own Favourite Dance of the series, and it’s down to the public to vote for the winner. Sorry, judges, no power for you!

Alex and Gorka will Showdance to There’s No Business Like Showbusiness, while the Judges’ Pick is their American Smooth to Wouldn’t It Be Lovely.
Details of their Favourite Dance are being kept under wraps for now.
Also dancing in the finale are Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice, Gemma Atkinson and Aljaz Skorjanec, and Joe McFadden and Katya Jones.
Strictly’s final kicks off from Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC1.
