Strictly Come Dancing star Dan Walker has hit back at viewers after escaping the dreaded dance-off.
The BBC Breakfast host came under fire last night (November 21), as Tom Fletcher and Rhys Stephenson were forced to dance again.
However, some viewers believed that Dan deserved to be in the bottom two on Sunday evening.

The presenter admitted that the negative comments hadn’t gone unnoticed.
However, he was trying to focus on the positive ones.
I’m well aware that some people are furious
The Strictly star tweeted: “I’m well aware that some people are furious that I’m still dancing, and that’s fine Face with tears of joy.
“I have never posted any of the thousands of positive messages we get every single week but, in the interests of balance, thank you to everyone who sends stuff like this. See you next week.”

How did Strictly fans respond?
Strictly viewers were divided over Dan’s tweet.
Many rushed to support the star, with one saying: “Everyone is entitled to an opinion but really disappointed that trolling is the way forward in this world! You clearly have a great fan base but it is always sad to see good dancers leave the show!”
A second added: “It’s not a dance competition. It’s a show with celebrities learning to dance. People rightly vote for the most improved and popular. You are both! More power to you.”

In addition, a third wrote: “Well said, hardly worth getting so angry about it. I like Dan, he’s picking up the votes so get over it people!”
However, others took the opportunity to hit out at Dan.
One critic shared: “Keeping Dan in is at the expense of good dancers !! #Strictly #getdanout.”
Another tweeted: “Tom & Amy did not deserve to go. Absolute madness #Strictly It’s ridiculous that Tom & Dan scored the same.”
A third posted: “It is not the lack of dancing ability that is the issue as you [Dan] are very competent. It is the faux modesty which is rather contrived and obvious that is irritating.
“The ‘everyman’ persona which you have manufactured to gain votes through sympathy rather than dancing ability.”
Meanwhile, others accused the show of BBC favouritism.
