It can’t be easy having a partner who competes on Strictly.
First of all, they’re away all the time.
Then there are the endless trips out to the studio to watch them dance, and when you can’t pause the action to nip to the loo, that is one long show.
But most worryingly, is what has come to be known as the ‘curse’ of Strictly.
Yes, the phenomenon of celebrities becoming a little too close to their partners has happened a few times now, and the latest married star to be linked to the curse has spoken out.

Davood Ghadami, who has two children with wife, Isobel, was a hotly- tipped contender when he entered this year’s competition.
But we can’t imagine Isobel was too impressed when Davood was given Playboy model Nadiya Bychkova as his professional dancing partner.
The pair have enjoyed some hot routines and, after Davood and Nadiya performed a Quickstep earlier this month, judge Bruno Tonioli went so far as to say the pair looked like they were going ‘straight to the bedroom’.
However, Davood has now set the record straight, saying that Bruno’s comments weren’t out of line.
“It was two people meeting at a library and getting close and ran off together,” he says of the idea behind the dance.
“That was the story we were trying to tell. He was just showing his observation with that so I was fine with it.”
Davood has also made it clear that he and Nadiya are great friends and if their routines seem steamy, it’s nothing untoward.
“We get on really well and had a laugh from day one,” he says of their partnership. “It’s all happened naturally and worked out well.
“It’s not something we have had to work on particularly. We’ve been lucky enough to be given dances and songs that allow us to show that chemistry between us and the partnership. I think it’s working really well.”

Last night, the pair made the most of Halloween week by performing the Rumba to Wicked Game by Chris Isaak.
Their score of 25 saw them drop into the lower half of the leaderboard.
Maybe it wasn’t steamy enough!
