As two of Strictly Come Dancing’s most attractive stars, they’ve had people talking since before they even hit the dancefloor.
Yes, there’s certainly chemistry between Eastenders star Davod Ghadami and Strictly professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova, and it’s clear to see.

In fact, it’s so clear that even judge Bruno Tonioli got a bit carried away following the pair’s Samba to The Bee Gees’ Stayin’ Alive, which he declared was, ‘Like a race to the bedroom!’
However, while Davood may have won Inside Soap’s Sexiest Male award this week and Nadiya has appeared in Playboy in the past, Davood isn’t worried by any talk, and neither is his wife.
Davood married Isobel in 2010 and the pair have two daughters, Eva (5) and Grace (2).
Davood has also played Kush Kazemi in Eastenders since 2014, and he says that the role means his wife is used to seeing him with other women.
“My wife watches Kush on the TV pretending to be married to or sleeping with another character,” he says. “So she is used to dealing with this sort of situation in my professional life. She is the rock, the steadiness in my life and she knows that. I’m incredibly lucky. She is so supportive.”
So although both Davood and Nadiya have been talked about as a potential couple since the show began, Davood says he’s not worried because Isobel knows the truth.
“People will say things,” he says. “As long as you know the truth and the people you love know the truth it shouldn’t matter.”
In fact, Davood says that he wasn’t even aware of Nadiya’s Playboy past until they started training and he says it’s certainly not what stuck in his mind.
“When I did realise I was more interested in the fact she is two-times world ballroom champion,” he says. “I’ve been topless on telly, it doesn’t dictate how you are as a person.”

Tonight, the pair will be dancing the Charleston to The Lambeth Walk by The Pasadena Roof Orchestra, and Davood says it’s an opportunity to make people talk about the duo’s dancing, rather than their looks.
“I want to shift the emphasis away from looks,” he says. “I want people to see it looks good because of how we are performing”.
