When it comes to her dancing abilities, it’s clear that Alexandra Burke is talented. But viewers have complained that her reactions to judges scores have left them with a bitter taste.
Alexandra and her dance partner, Gorka Marquez, were left beaming after the judges praised their Cha Cha Cha, landing her with a almost perfect score of 39.
Shirley Ballas even dubbed her performance the ‘best of the season’ – leaving it up to Craig Revel Horwood to be the one to shatter her hopes of a perfect score, being the only judge not to award her a 10.

But while no one is denying she is a great dancer, viewers can’t help but roll their eyes at her reactions to the judges praise.
While all the show’s contestants are quite rightly thrilled when they get awarded a high score, Alexandra’s reactions have been grating on people.
@Charlaface wrote on Twitter, “It’s actually quite painful to watch Alexandra Burke getting so overexcited every week, it comes across as really fake to me.”
And @Gillisflowers made a good point… “Wish Alexandra Burke would tone down her ‘surprise’ to the judges comments. She must know she’s good and she’s been in musicals.”

Poor Alexandra might be getting some serious stick from the viewers, but spare a moment’s thought for her dance partner Gorka.

Last night, her reaction to her almost perfect scores from the judges saw Alexandra jumping up and down and accidentally stamping on Gorka’s foot!
After completing her dance, a thrilled Alexandra said: ‘I was petrified – and I didn’t know what turnout meant, I didn’t know if it was good or bad. I’m so happy. I thought they were going to say pigeon foot again.’
