Danny John-Jules has slammed presenter Lorraine Kelly for not defending him when he was caught up in claims of bulling on Strictly Come Dancing.
The Red Dwarf actor, 58, lashed out at the Lorraine host, 59, and accused her of “[going] with the lie” when it was alleged he “bullied” his dance partner, Amy Dowden.
In a new interview with Metro, Danny said she should have spoken in his defence after he appeared on her talk show a number of times.

He told the publication: “I’ve been on Lorraine’s show a couple of times, about three times, and I’ve always had nothing but good things to say about her. [Lorraine] never defended me. Never defended me.
“[She] went with the lie and I’m sorry, I’ve always said good things about her and I still haven’t said bad things about her. But [she] should have defended it you know, really, because [she] met me three times.”
Danny went on to call the bullying claims “rubbish” and insisted his “conscience is clean”.
He continued: “I’ve said it since day one that rubbish came out and I say it today, my conscience is clean. Every single person in the show associated with the show knows the truth and know that I am telling the truth.”
Even pro dancer Amy was among those to deny the claims when it was reported that Danny had been warned by the BBC over “bullying” behaviour towards her.
Last month, the former Death in Paradise star criticised the BBC for not stepping in to tell the public the stories were untrue.
Speaking to Metro, he demanded to know why the broadcaster didn’t issue a statement to clear the air and appeared to blame the BBC, telling the publication, “They created the stories”.
The broadcaster responded by calling Danny’s claims “categorically untrue”, according to Digital Spy.

Despite his own experience on the hit dancing competition, which saw him eliminated in week eight, he reportedly encouraged Mike Bushell to sign up.
He told Metro that they spoke about Strictly at Mike’s wedding in May, but the gaffe-prone BBC Breakfast presenter remained tight-lipped over his involvement in the new series.
Mike, 53, is among the celebrities taking to the dancefloor next week for series 17 this weekend (07.09.19).
